  • COUNTRIES:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Ciprus, Croatia, Danemark (including Far Oer islands and Greenland), Estonia, Finland, France, (including Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Réunion, Mayotte, and excluding other territories located outside the European continent), Germany, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands (excluding territories located outside the European continent), Poland, Portugal (including Azores and Madeira) Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (including territories on the African continent), Sweden, Hungary, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Andorra and Principality of Monaco.

  • PROVISIONS:

Obligation to present one of the COVID-19 green certifications:

  • anti-SARS-CoV2 vaccination occurred, with certification of completion of the prescribed vaccination cycle;

  • recovery from COVID-19;

and

  • negative molecular swab performed in the 48 hours or antigenic swab performed in the 24 hours prior to entry into Italy exceptions are foreseen (link).

N.B: In the absence of the negative swab, as required by the provisions in force:

  1. it is mandatory to report you entry into the national territory to the Prevention Department of the Health Unit you are supposed to spend your stay, using the dedicated ENTRY FROM ABROAD REPORTING FORM (link).

  2. Observe HEALTH SURVEILLANCE and FIDUCIARY ISOLATION for 5 days at your holiday resort;

  3. Carry out a further molecular or antigen test at the end of the quaratine.

Argentina, Australia, Bahrein, Canada, Cile, Colombia, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, New Zealand, Peru, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (including Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and British Bases on the Island of Cyprus, and exluding non-European continent territories), United States of America, Uruguay, Taiwan, special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao.

  • PROVISIONS:

it is mandatory to report your entry into the national territory to the Prevention Department of the Health Unit you are supposed to spend your stay, by using the dedicated ENTRY FROM ABROAD REPORTING FORM (link).

Obligation to present the COVID-19 green pass or a certification issued by the health authorities certifying the completion of a prescribed course of anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination validated by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Obligation of a negative molecular swab to be performed within 72 hours before entering Italy (48 hours for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and dependencies) or antigenic swab to be performed within 24 hours before entering Italy, exceptions are foreseen (link).

N.B: In the absence of vaccination and / or swab:

  • Obligation to observe HEALTH SURVEILLANCE and FIDUCIARY ISOLATION for 5 days at your holiday resort/domicile – Undergo a negative molecular or antigenic swab.

  • Exceptions (links) to the quarantine obligation are foreseen, as long as no symptoms linked to COVID-19 occur.

  • PROVISIONS:

ENTRY not permitted except for work, health reasons, study, absolute urgency, going back home.

  1. It is mandatory to report your entry into the national territory to the Prevention Department of the the Health Unit you are supposed to spend your stay, by using the dedicated ENTRY FROM ABROAD REPORTING FORM (link).

  2. Obligation of a negative molecular swab to be performed within 72 hours or antigenic swab to be performed within 24 hours before entering Italy

  3. Observe HEALTH SURVEILLANCE and FIDUCIARY ISOLATION for 10 days at your holiday resort;

Exceptions (links) to the quarantine obligation are foreseen, as long as no symptoms linked to COVID-19 occur.

SOUTH AFRICA, LESOTHO, BOTSWAN, ZIMBABWE, MALAWI, MOZAMBIQUE, NAMIBIA, ESWATINI

ENTRY NOT PERMITTED except for work, health reasons, study, absolute urgency, going back home.

COVID-TESTED FLIGHTS

COVID TESTED flights are exclusively authorised by the Ministry of Health through special Ordinance.
