It is mandatory to report your entry into the national territory to the Prevention Department of the the Health Unit you are supposed to spend your stay, by using the dedicated ENTRY FROM ABROAD REPORTING FORM (link).
Obligation to present the COVID-19 green pass or a certification issued by the health authorities certifying the completion of a prescribed course of anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination validated by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Those who come from Canada, Japan and the United States of America can also exhibit the Green Certification attesting recovery issued by the competent health authorities. These certifications can be exhibited in digital or paper format.
A negative molecular swab to be performed within 72 hours before entering Italy (48 hours for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and dependencies) or antigenic swab to be performed within 24 hours before entering Italy, exceptions are foreseen (link).
Minors aged under 6 don’t required to carry out a covid test before departure.
N.B: In the absence of vaccination and / or swab:
Obligation to observe HEALTH SURVEILLANCE and FIDUCIARY ISOLATION for 5 days at your holiday resort/domicile – Undergo a negative molecular or antigenic swab.
Exceptions (links) to the quarantine obligation are foreseen, as long as no symptoms linked to COVID-19 occur.
